Located in Lebanon, New Hampshire, in the heart of New England, near the intersection of Interstates 89 and 91, the DRTC is 1 1/2 hours by car from Manchester, NH, 2 1/2 hours from Boston, and 5 hours from New York. The Upper Valley, which is home to Dartmouth College and the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, is located on the Connecticut River, just 10 minutes from the DRTC. The river provides the border between New Hampshire and Vermont, and Hanover/Lebanon is about half way up the state and just a bridge's length away from Vermont. If you are traveling by air, there are several regional airports to choose from.
By Car
From Boston and points south: Take I-93 north past the Manchester, NH tollbooth. Take I-89 north toward Hanover, White River Junction, Lebanon, NH, take exit 18 (Route 120 toward Dartmouth College), turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp, travel approximately 2 miles on Route 120, turn right into Centerra Resource Park (traffic light), take the first right onto Morgan Drive, turn right onto Lafayette Street, turn right onto Cavendish Court, entrance and parking to the DRTC is straight ahead. From New York City and points south: Take I-91 north from Hartford, Conn., merge onto I-89 south via exit 10S toward airport (crossing into New Hampshire), take exit 18 (Route 120 toward Dartmouth College), turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp, travel approximately 2 miles on Route 120, turn right into Centerra Resource Park (traffic light), take the first right onto Morgan Drive, turn right onto Lafayette Street, turn right onto Cavendish Court, entrance and parking to the DRTC is straight ahead. From the west: I-90 intersects I-91 in Springfield, Mass. and I-84 intersects I-91 in Hartford, Conn. From either point, take I-91 north, merge onto I-89 south, follow street directions above.
By Air
Lebanon Airport: The Lebanon Airport (Lebanon, NH) is served by small commuter/prop planes. Flights are available to and from LaGuardia Airport in New York City. Rental cars are available at the airport and the drive to the DRTC takes approximately 10 minutes. From the Lebanon Airport, take I-89 South, take exit 18 (Route 120 toward Dartmouth College), turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp, travel approximately 2 miles on Route 120, turn right into Centerra Resource Park (traffic light), take the first right onto Morgan Drive, turn right onto Lafayette Street, turn right onto Cavendish Court, entrance and parking to the DRTC is straight ahead.
Logan Airport: The Logan Airport (Boston, MA) is about 120 miles southeast of Lebanon. Rental cars are available at the airport, and the drive from the airport to the DRTC takes approximately 2 ½ hours, drive through the Callahan Tunnel, follow signs to I-93 north, then follow the "By Car" directions from Boston, above.
Manchester Airport: The Manchester Airport (Manchester, NH) is served by the major airlines. It is located about 80 miles southeast of Hanover. Rental cars are available at the airport and the drive to Lebanon takes approximately 90 minutes. Follow signs to I-93 north, then follow the "By Car" directions from Boston, above.
Burlington Airport: The Burlington Airport (Burlington, VT) is about 75 miles northwest of Lebanon. Rental cars are available and the drive to the DRTC takes approximately two hours. Take I-89 South, take exit 18 (Route 120 toward Dartmouth College), turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp, travel approximately 2 miles on Route 120, turn right into Centerra Resource Park (traffic light), take the first right onto Morgan Drive, turn right onto Lafayette Street, turn right onto Cavendish Court, entrance and parking to the DRTC is straight ahead.
