FreshAir Sensor LLC is focused on improving safety and comfort by detecting environmental contaminants. The initial focus is on cigarette and marijuana smoke. Second and thirdhand smoke are serious health hazards to which many people are unwillingly exposed. FreshAir allows customers to effectively prevent smoking in unobserved areas.
FreshAir uses a novel sensor technology to detect cigarettes and marijuana. The sensor uses Wi-Fi to communicate with the FreshAir online platform. When cigarettes or marijuana are detected the customer will be immediately notified by e-mail. When the event is over the customer will receive a chart showing the measurement of the substance detected.
While FreshAir provides clear proof that smoking has taken place in a prohibited area, it also provides an effective deterrent to smoking. With FreshAir it is possible to immediately address the situation if someone is smoking in a prohibited area.

As the number of diabetics, the number of pre-diabetics, and the staggering costs to manage the disease continue to rise, there is an urgent need to better identify populations at risk for developing complications.
